Hello there! If you are reading this then you are reading my first ever blog post! I am pretty nervous about starting this, but I am excited for all the possibilities. I wanted to write my first ever post about why I created this site and wanted to start blogging in the first place.

As you can tell, this site is named “no small servant”, with the tagline “Anyone Can Have an Impact on the Kingdom of God”. As a Christian, I know that one of the things we are called to do is make disciples. We are meant to have relationships with people and share the Gospel with them, and tell them about the amazing thing that Jesus did for us and how that changes our lives. One thing to know about me right off the bat is that I am very introverted, and I struggle to make friends and start relationships with people. Another thing to know about me (and this is a weird one) is that speaking in front of a large crowd is actually easier than speaking to one person or a small group of people. Now I know that sounds bizarre and makes no sense, but that’s just how I am, I can’t explain it.

I have been in many situations where I had an opportunity to share the Gospel and either completely choked and said something really weird that made no sense, or I got completely tongue tied and had no idea what to say - my mind was literally blank. I have been praying about this for a long time, but I never seemed to feel any better about it. I mean I know what I want to say, I guess I just don’t know how to express it. Then, a few months ago it hit me - I am not really that great at speaking about it, but I could write about it all day. I feel like I can express my feelings about the Gospel through sitting down and writing about it better than speaking about it. I felt like the Lord was leading me to starting this here blog - a way for me to have an impact on the Kingdom of God.

And that is the message I want to share on this blog. I want to write about the things I may struggle with, how to overcome things by faith, and just straight up sharing how great our God is, but also to show that there are many ways to be a part of the Kingdom of God, you just have to find your place. There are no small servants, just small people!

With all that being said, I am so happy you are here and I hope that you will walk on this journey with me. I have no idea what will come of this, but I am happy to follow along with whatever path the Lord has placed in front of me. If you know Jesus, then I am glad you are here, and I hope that this blog can be encouraging and inspiring to your walk of faith. If you are here and you don’t know Jesus, I am also glad you are here and I look forward to you learning more about him and how accepting him as your Lord and Savior is literally life changing. Wherever you are and whoever you are, just remember that in the Kingdom of God, there are no small servants.
